STANDARD Chartered Bank Zimbabwe (StanChart) has introduced annual limits for its Visa Card and prohibited its use in offshore investments, The Financial Gazette reported.

StanChart joins other local banks which imposed limits or restricted foreign use of international debit cards last year.

The bank, a unit of Standard Chartered Plc, informed clients that it had restricted foreign holiday travel limits to $2 000 per year, while the limit for business travel is now pegged at $5 000 per annum.
